Kale and Coconut smoothie

While reading one of my favorite blogs LA In Bloom I came across a delicious recipe for a Kale and Coconut smoothie. I tried making it myself and now I am hooked! I love the light texture and feel great every time I have one. Even my toddler loves it. We carry almost all the ingredients here at YFM including the coconut water.


Kale and Coconut Smoothie
Serves 2

1 heaping cup of kale, stems removed and roughly chopped
1 cup coconut water
1 banana
1/2 cup coconut meat, roughly chopped
1 teaspoon agave
a pinch of cinnamon
1 cup of ice (add more or less depending on your taste)

Place ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth, for at least a minute. Enjoy!
