It's blueberry time!!! Local blueberries are now available at the Yakima Fruit Market. If you're shying away from making jam this weekend in the 90 degree heat, why not freeze some blueberries?
To Freeze:
Wash berries thoroughly. Drain well.
Place berries on a baking sheet until frozen (this keeps them from becoming big frozen blocks of berries.)
Put berries in to ziplock bag. Don't forget to label it with the date!
